The Flagstaff Stargazing Experience

Group gathered for stargazing tour and you can see the guide pointing a laser to the milky way

It's not every day that you're in the World's First Dark Sky City! Make the most out of the incredible night sky views by treating yourself to a curated stargazing experience with high-quality telescopes, a stargazing guide, and comforts like blankets and hot chocolate.

Take a look at our tours and events to determine how you would like to experience the breathtaking night skies of the World's First Dark Sky City.

We also offer Private Starparty Services for events such as wedding receptions, community activities, corporate outings, family reunions, etc. Contact us to learn how we can design an experience to make your next event unforgettable.

Our goal is to bring the night sky and deep space observation to as many people as possible in the most engaging ways possible. With a more hands-on experience, such as our "Stellar Explorer's Tour" where your group controls their own telescope, or for a more hands-off experience with bigger telescopes, we have our "Ultimate Stargazing Experience", where you sit back, relax, and are guided through the tour.

You'll also take home several unique mementos to commemorate your experience under the starry skies of Northern Arizona. If you wish to learn how to take your own photos of the Milky Way, signup for one of our monthly "Introduction to Astrophotography" workshops where we provide all the necessary equipment!

High-resolution digital copies of your "Astro-portraits", all deep-space images captured on the night of your experience, and any images that are taken on your tour will be shared with you.

"What a fantastic
experience!"

What a fantastic experience! Being from the East Coast, it's very difficult to do any kind of stargazing. This was a GREAT way to see the stars and learn about them and the role they have played in our shared history. Evan was super friendly and VERY knowledgeable about the stars, constellations and their lore, and the history of astronomy relating to what we were seeing
