Most people visit the Grand Canyon during the day… but few ever experience—and capture—it at night. This guided astrophotography experience takes you on a journey across some of the most iconic viewpoints in Grand Canyon National Park, where you’ll learn how to photograph the night sky over one of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth. We’ll begin in the village with a quick, beginner-friendly equipment check before heading out together in a short caravan. From there, we’ll make our way to the canyon rim, starting near Bright Angel Trailhead and the historic Kolb Studio, where you’ll capture your first images of the canyon under the stars. As the night unfolds, we’ll continue east—stopping at carefully selected viewpoints along the rim to photograph the Milky Way, dramatic canyon silhouettes, and expansive night skies. Each stop offers a new perspective and a chance to refine your shots with hands-on guidance. We’ll end the experience at the iconic Desert View Watchtower, where we’ll work to capture a truly unforgettable image of the tower beneath a sea of stars.
